‘Light in our Hands’ merges the inner worlds of two artists who have made it their life’s work to distill feelings – which can be slippery, complicated things – into simple words. These two longtime friends, Melbourne singer-songwriter Lucy Wise and Darwin poet Alexandra Steffan, come together to share their experiences of mental illness, healing and everyday things that can deeply move us, in a show that weaves together spoken word and music.
