Portia Jade is delighted to be making her debut into the Performing Arts Industry. Initially training at Hinterland Dance Academy, performing at her local theatre 'Spotlight Theatre', and majoring deeply in the arts at high school, Portia has always had her eye on performing. She most recently completed a Cert IV in Musical Theatre in her first year at the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre and is now continuing her studies there in the Performance Course. Her recent credits include, Mayor of Finland plus multiple roles in SPAMALOT, Wendy Jo in FOOTLOOSE Ella in her own self devised cabaret 18 (Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre), Alice in ALICE IN WONDERLAND THE PANTOMIME, Natalie Haller in ALL SHOOK UP and Pilar in LEGALLY BLONDE (Spotlight Theatre), Sherrie in ROCK OF AGES and Ensemble/Christine US in BE MORE CHILL (National Academy of Performing Arts). She has gone on to do multiple workshops in modelling, dancing and acting with Sydney Dance Company and famous American Director Cinzia Coassin. Portia dreams of enlightening audiences with her passion for the arts and would love to thank everyone in her life who continuously supports her to make this dream a reality.
