Sue did her musical apprenticeship in a rock band, which travelled and toured throughout NSW, QLD, Northern Territory and Victoria, playing covers of everyone else's number one hits. Finally after the 19th replacement of yet another musician in the line-up, she decided it was time to have a break from singing 4 hours a night, 6 days a week in smoke-filled night clubs, and came home to rest. Sue decided, for a sea change, she would have a go at musical theatre - something she enjoyed in her school years. Sue scored a leading role in Half a Sixpence with the Queanbeyan Players, then in Godspell, South Pacific and even played the villainous Mrs. Snake in Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Her Dad's a Londoner and Mum was from Leicester, England; so she thought a cockney role in My Fair Lady would be reason enough to tread the boards again, and besides, she can practice my rhyming slang!
