After a few years' absence, Arran is slowly creeping back onto the Canberra stage. In the past year he could be seen in Something Borrowed Theatre Company's production of Blokes don't Talk and Canberra Rep's production of Arcadia. Previous to his disappearance from theatre he starred in such varied productions as The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Servant of Two Masters and After Magritte. The only CAT award he has received had nothing to do with his acting and was for his animation and effects work in A Small Wooden Duck's Bring Me the Head of Edgar Allen Poe.
