Charlotte O'Shea

Having moved to the ACT in January, this is Charlotte's fi rst show in the Canberra scene. Charlotte has previously played such roles as Mabel in FAME! (2003), Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Superstar (2004), The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2006), a corkscrew in Beauty and the Beast (2007), Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest (2008), Stage Manager in The Skin of Our Teeth (2009), Edith in The Pirates of Penzance (2010), Arvide in Guys and Dolls (2011), Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (2012), and Cookie in Return to the Forbidden Planet (2012). She has also been behind-the-scenes, stage managing The Lion King Jr (2016). In the past few years, Charlotte's love of performance has been channelled through her job as an overly dramatic secondary school teacher. She has enjoyed tackling the trills of her fi rst Sondheim show with such a talented group of people, and would like to thank her family for trekking north to "attend the tale". She would especially like to thank her husband, Robert, for his stalwart support.
