Young up-and-coming triple threat Tayler Ramsay hails from Brisbane and has successfully completed both a Certificate IV and a Diploma of Musical Theatre through the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre (BAMT). Her passion for musical theatre began at age 12 when she starred as Annie in her Primary school production of Annie Jr. Growing up, Tayler always loved dancing and cheerleading beginning her dance studies at age 5, training extensively in All Star Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and American Pom, and commencing her cheerleading studies at age 8, training in stunting and tumbling. In 2018, Tayler travelled to the USA where she danced in Disneyland C.A and Universal Studios C.A, and represented Australia in the Varsity Showcase Cheerleading Championship, placing second in her division. Since then, Tayler has been involved in numerous productions and events, and some of her credits include Ariel Moore – FOOTLOOSE (BAMT), Lorraine – ALL SHOOK UP (BAMT), Wendy Hogan – MISFITS (BAMT), Sir Bedevere/Mother Galahad – SPAMALOT (BAMT), HEATHERS (BAMT), GODSPELL (BAMT), Kitty – CHICAGO (HARVEST RAIN TALENT ACADEMY), Dancer – AFL GRAND FINAL 2020, Winter Wonderland Dancer – DAVID JONES CHRISTMAS PARADE (DLDC), and she’s been a mass ensemble member in Harvest Rain Theatre Company’s productions of GREASE:THE ARENA EXPERIENCE, and THE WIZARD OF OZ:THE ARENA SPECTACULAR. As part of her theatre studies, she also had the opportunity to write and perform her own original solo cabaret titled MY NOT SO FABULOUS FAIRY-TALE, as well as learn from some of Australia’s best industry professionals. Recently represented by WHO ARTISTS, Tayler is excited for future opportunities to show her talent and is looking forward to developing her skills in screen acting. Tayler's screen credits include the 2021 Social Campaign - BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL, and The Wanderers - LIGHT ROAD PRODUCTIONS.
