Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art is pleased to showcase it’s 500+ students in this year’s end-of-year productions.
Students have been working on short plays, poems and songs during Term 4 and will present them on stage at CADA’s very own multi-purpose theatre in Fyshwick. The audience will enjoy all kinds of stories with a range of themes and characters.
This event is a great opportunity for our young students to experience a performance in a working theatre, and to practice all the skills of an actor: standing under lights and performing to a live audience, applying what they’ve rehearsed in class in real time, and using shared theatrical spaces on stage and backstage thoughtfully.
Drama is a fantastic way for children and young people to develop creative thinking skills, self-confidence, and team building skills as they work in an ensemble of performers.
