The Cocoon
Pink Lake Productions presents
The Cocoon

17 Nov 2021

Raw, intimate, hilarious, heartfelt. New York City Playwright Kotryna Gersait poignantly portrays the universal theme of love that we all at some point experience regardless of gender, sexual orientation or even sometimes, reciprocation. This may make you cry, it will make you laugh and you may have a heated discussion with your significant other afterwards. Not to be missed.

“This brilliant piece of immersive theatre manages to truthfully capture all of the joys, insecurities and bewilderment that we experience in contemporary romance. It is raw, passionate, and scarily accurate. if there’s one feeling to have invoked within The Cocoon, it’s bound to be a relieving sentiment of ‘wow, I’m not alone.’

Not only does The Cocoon unearth innate moments of self-reflection, it will also poignantly enlighten you to the perspectives of those of a different gender or sexual orientation to your own.”  5/5 stars The Adelaidean.

New York City Play wright Kotryna Gesait has captured the universal theme of love which has touched our lives in some way weather undying, unreturned, new or ending.
