Proof

29 Jul 2022 to 20 Aug 2022

Directed by Amy Lawler

Proof is an intriguing story about family, truth, gender, and mental health, set in the context of academic mathematics. The story involves an enigmatic young woman Catherine, her manipulative sister, their brilliant father, and an unexpected suitor. They are all pieces of the puzzle in the search for the truth behind a mysterious mathematical proof. The play premiered on Broadway in October 2000 where it earned the Drama Desk Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Tony Award for Best Play. David Auburn’s Proof is a passionate, intelligent story about fathers and daughters, the nature of genius, and the power of love.
