1700’s England 

Storm is based on the true story of John Newton, the composer of the world-famous song ‘Amazing Grace’. We see how his journey takes him from his life as a slave master, gambler and womaniser, to a life altering experience at sea which leads him to write this incredibly famous song. He has a revelation, and his life is forever changed. This musical shows us how anyone can be transformed by the powerful and life-giving Christian message which is filled with grace, compassion and tolerance.
