Hadestown: Teen Edition brings the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to life through a bold mix of folk, jazz and blues.

In a world where the seasons are out of balance and hope is hard to hold onto, young dreamer Orpheus believes his music can change everything. When Eurydice is drawn into the underworld by the promise of safety and security, Orpheus must journey to Hadestown to bring her home. Along the way, the story of Hades and Persephone reveals a world shaped by love, power, doubt and sacrifice.

Hadestown: Teen Edition is the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway musical, specially adapted for teen performers and brought to life by the Gungahlin College Theatre Company. Winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Hadestown has captivated audiences since opening on Broadway in 2019. With unforgettable music, striking characters and a powerful message about trust, resilience and hope, Hadestown: Teen Edition invites audiences to ask: how far would you go for love, and what does it take to imagine a better world?

Dinner and Show option

On Thursday 20 August there will be a Dinner and Show option available. Dinner will be served in the Hospitality cafe at Gungahlin College, starting at 6pm. Service will include Appetisers, Main and Dessert with a 50/50 set menu drop for $30 per head.
