Founded in 1951 by Bernard Manning, a professional singer with the D'Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company, The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Western Australia has produced over 80 productions of W.S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan’s extraordinary contribution to musical theatre. Celebrating its 70th year in 2021, the Society has brought laughter and joy to generations of Western Australians.
