Anne was introduced to the wonderful world of theatre by a university friend. She has been involved with a number of local productions and has a particular love of period costumes.

She became more involved in the Canberra theatre scene when a work colleague saw fit to introduce her to the folks at Canberra Rep. They (perhaps foolishly) let her loose in their wardrobe, and the obsession with theatre costuming began.

Anne was delighted to work with Canberra Philo for the first time in 2013, as Costume Designer for their production of Les Miserables.

Dave has been performing in musical theatre for around 15 years in over 20 shows playing such roles as Claude in Hair, Action in West Side Story, Julian Marshin 42nd Street,Galahad/Various in Spamalot and most recently Jean Valjean in Les Miserables

Dave has also moved into performing opera making his operatic debut in December 2011 in the role of Nemorino in the Canberra Opera Workshops production of DonizettisThe Elixir of Lovefor which he received critical acclaim for his performance. Daves next operatic role was the beautiful, but very demanding Mozart tenor role of Tamino inThe MagicFlute.

Dave has recently moved to Sydney to persue a career in performing and is working with the acclaimed soprano Ghillian Sullivan

Vanessa is a primary school teacher who has been performing on the Canberra musical theatre stage for about 6 years. Most recently Vanessa was seen playing Marta in Everymans 2015 production of Company and earlier that year Rizzo in Queanbeyan City Councils performance of Grease and Cathy Hiatt in Dramatic Productions The Last Five Years. In 2014 she appeared in Queanbeyan City Councils Production of Sunset Boulevard as Betty Schaefer, Free Rain Theatre Companies production of Legally Blonde as Margot and the understudy for Elle Woods and SUPA Productions Witches of Eastwick as Sukie Rougemont.

Vanessa currently studies voice under the tutelage of the fabulous musical maestro Sharon Tree.  Her other theatre credits include Canberra Philharmonic Society’s 2013 production of Les Miserable as Eponine, Everyman Theatre's 2012 RENT as Mimi Marquez, Canberra Philharmonic's 2012 production of Hairspray playing Amber Von Tussle and Pheonix Risings 2012 How to Succeed in Business as Rosemary Pinkleton.

Greg is very excited to be playing Tommy Keeler in Annie Get Your Gun. The character has been a lot of fun to explore and provides the opportunity to showcase a range of skills and emotions throughout the show. He is very grateful for the opportunity that the production team has extended to him.

Greg has previously featured in Queanbeyan City Council's I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, played The Bishop and Brujon, and understudied Thenardier in Canberra Philharmonic's Les Misérables and played Skimbleshanks in Free-Rain's Cats. He has also performed in Queanbeyan City Council's Hair, Queanbeyan Players' Jesus Christ Superstar, Canberra Philharmonic's 42nd Street, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and West Side Story, and Phoenix Players' The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Thanks to the cast and crew for their tireless commitment and support throughout the production period.

In 2005 after having played in the Lakes & Craters Band Camperdown for several years I became the conductor at age 19, taking them in 2007 to the Australian National Band Championships & The Victorian State Championships, returning home as Victorian State Champions for our section.

In 2006 I made the finals of the Warrnambool Aria Competion and shared the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing award at Royal South Street for someone best suited to a career in musical theatre. In 2007 I commenced a Bachelor of Music- Voice at the Melba Conservatorium studying under Peter Mander and that year I won the Ballarat Courier Ballad Contest at Royal South Street. Unfortunately the school was closed before I could finish my studies.

In June 2010 I moved to Canberra and for one & half years I played trombone for the ANU School of Music Orchestra. This Orchestra participated in the Canberra Festival Camerata in May 2011 and performed for the Australian premier of Schubert's 10th and 11th Symphonies.

2011 saw the culmination of two and half years of work when my brass quintet Diamond in the Rough was performed by Hawthorn A grade brass band. It also saw the release, in England, Canada and America, of a collaboratively composed jazz ballad, for which I was also the vocalist, called Cup of Happiness.

In 2012 I enrolled Part-Time in a Cert. III in Performance (Acting) at Canberra Academy of Dramatic Arts (CADA)

In 2013 I was cast as Lesgles in Canberra Philharmonic's production of Les Miserables, I also portrayed, Borsa in Rigoletto & a guard in Carmen for Canberra Opera's gala concert & in Far Musical's Production of, a new work, Stockholm The Musical I played the lead male role of Thomas Hartley.

2014 Saw the premier of 2 more of my works: Sunday a sonata for saxaphone with piano accompaniment, and, The Nightingale an art song adaption of my own poem. I had a paid, non-speaking, role in a re-enactment for ABC's Four Corners [Portrayed an ASIO officer raiding the house of East-Timor Lawyer Bernard Collaery]

I also completed my Certificate III in Performance (Acting) at CADA.

2015 - I composed a duet for trombones titled Cosmology which was performed from the balcony of the National Library as part of the Canberra International Music Festival. I entered my composition "Sunday" in the IBLA Grand Prize in Italy and received a score of 8.30 out of 10 and was presented with a certificate for Most Distinguished Musician & Special Mention. I realised the first sale of my completed Saxophone Sonata "Sunday" to Javier Oviedo who runs the Classical Saxophone Project in New York. I also commenced playing trombone/percussion with Hawthorn A Grade Brass Band, playing at the National & State Championships.

2016 - I commenced recording on an Audio Book for a respected Australian author (Cannot say more than that at present). I have just completed Music Directing a 17 piece orchestra for Red Door Theatre and Dance Company's production of Legally Blonde & presently rehearsing on trombone/percussion with Hawthorn Brass Band for the Bendigo Competition & the State Band Championships. Also on the 28th of August at the Black Box Theatre in Colac my piano Sonata "Music to Play Whilst Skipping Class" will be premiered in a recital by Sonoka Miyaka

Richard arrived on the Canberra theatre scene late in life, somewhere between his 31st and 32nd birthdays. His first show was in Phoenix Players production of Kiss Me Kate in 2006, where he "Fell in love with theatre" and since then he has appeared in dozens of shows ranging from plays to musicals to pantomimes.

In 2010 Richard began his foray into producing shows as the Production Manager for Phoenix Players Disney's double bill - Cinderella and The Aristocats. He found managing two casts of about 50 children set him up to handle adult casts like "no other text book training could ever have". In 2012 he got his first chance direct with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as part of the Phoenix Players - Phoenix Rising Program.

In 2013 he performed leading roles in Ickle Pickle's production of Oliver! playing the "suitably sinister" Bill Sikes, as Frank Butler in Queanbeyan Player's Annie Get Your Gun and as understudy for the role of Javert in Canberra Philharmonic Society's Les Miserable.

In 2013 Richard launched the StageCenta website as a resource and information hub for the theatre scene.

In 2014 Richard established Dramatic Productions to co-produce The Rokitelly Man with Ickle Pickle Productions. And then in 2015 directed and produced The Last Five Years and teaming up with the ANU School of Music Into the Woods which won 3 Canberra Area Theatre awards. In 2016 Richard directed Dramatic Productions 4th show Catch Me If You Can.

2017 saw the last production directed by Richard, Sweeney Todd. Afterwards he would exclusively produce theatre, staging Heathers the Musical in 2018 and then The Producers in 2019, starring Daryl Somers (Hey Hey Its Saturday) and directed by Rachael Beck.

Marie has been singing and performing for the majority ofher life.  She joined the Canberratheatre scene in around 2004 and has performed in various roles.  After a 5 year break from the stage, she returns in 2013 in Canberra Philharmonics Les Miserables.

She played Gloria in Return to the Forbidden Planet, and also made appearances as Petra Fide in Feasting with the Fides Theatre Restaurant, When in Rome and the pantomime Sleeping Beauty.  Marie has also been seen performing on stage with many different live bands, and on almost every karaoke stage in Canberra.

Marie hopes to move into the future with many more on stage performances in the Canberra area.

Lachlan McGinness has performed in more than a dozen Canberra Amateur theatre productions including Les Miserable (twice), Jesus Christ Superstar (twice), Me and My Girl, the Sound of Music (as Rolfe), Annie (Bert Healy), the Mikado (Nanki-Poo), High School Musical (Zeke), Beauty and the Beast (as the Beast), Cats, Spamalot, the Music Man, and Fiddler on the Roof.

Lachlan also performs shows at Questacon, Australia's National Science and Technology Centre, including the Space show, the Colour and Light show, 'Balloonatic' and 'Instrumental as anything'.
