A Tragedy Is Wanted is a devised performance piece about  the challenges of gender relations in contemporary society. Referencing the suffragette movement, gender ideals, and societal expectations, A Tragedy Is Wanted is both funny and confronting. 

This work is a collaboration by Perform Australia's Advanced Diploma of Performance Students, who developed the work from a conceptual stage through to scripting and choreography.
