Claudia Tetreault was born in Montreal, Canada, the birthplace of her father. She begun singing lessons and theatre classes at the age of 7, after having performed for her family around the house as a child. Her first singing lessons were with an opera teacher, before moving on to jazz. She performed at many of the music school's concerts and also played flute in the primary school band. In 2006, Claudia and her family moved to Canberra, Australia. She begun singing lessons with a well known Canberran jazz coach, Rebeccah Baumgartner. She now specializes in Jazz and Blues & Soul. In 2012, Claudia participated in the Queanbeyan Star Search local talent competition and came first. Claudia feels as though Canberra and the surrounding region has much musical theatre to offer for singers and performers of any age. She has been in the chorus for the shows like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in 2006, directed by Stephen Pike, High school musical on stage in 2007, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie in 2009 and Fame in 2010, also directed by Stephen Pike. Then came sensational Hair the musical in 2012(also directed by Stephen Pike) which she opened with 'Aquarius' and also believes is the highlight of her musical theatre journey so far. In 2013 she played the role of Rusty, the easily excited best friend in Supa's production of Footloose, directed by Jordan Kelly. Claudia is working full time as a style advisor at David Jones before heading off to the US and Canada in late 2014 with fellow cast member and bestfriend, Erin Gough. She is so proud to share the stage with the talented and vibrant cast that is Sunset Boulevard.
