I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
Greg became very interested in being involved in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change on first hearing the hilarious soundtrack. He believes the show accurately reflects his sense of humour and gives him an opportunity to display a vocal and acting range that closely matches his abilities.He has found it very easy to relate a show where the journey through life and love has allowed him to reflect on similar personal experiences. He also believes the show is very effective in promoting the observer: the mothers, fathers, children and friends who provide support during life's highs and lows. It is often these characters that make the show resonate on a personal level. The music is very catchy and the harmonies are a particular highlight. As an actor with comparatively little experience it has been a valuable journey to be involved with and observe more seasoned performers. He has also benefited from the more intimate direction, guidance and assistance from Stephen, Lucy, Annette and Nick.Greg recently played The Bishop and Brujon while understudying Thenardier in Canberra Philharmonic's LES MISÉRABLES. In 2012 he appeared as Margaret Mead and a member of The Tribe in Queanbeyan City Council's Love-Rock Musical: HAIR and also played Skimbleshanks in Free-Rain's CATS. He has performed in Queanbeyan Players' JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Canberra Philharmonic's 42ND STREET, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, WEST SIDE STORY and Phoenix Players' THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS. Greg is very grateful for the opportunity that the production team has extended to him and thanks the cast and crew for their tireless commitment and support throughout the production period.
