Anita Davenport
ACT
Anita started performing onstage over 19 years ago and hasn't really stopped since! Over the past few years she's appeared in a range of musicals and plays with just about every company in Canberra. She's pined after Darcy as Miss Bingley in Rep's Pride and Prejudice, taught young hooligans in Free Rain's Grease and gone a little biblical as Mary Magdelene in the Bay Players Jesus Christ Superstar. On the side she also designs and constructs sets with her fiancé Steve, the most recent being a newspaper inspired Annie set for Phoenix Players. She's been having a blast playing the woodsy gun-slinging Annie in this proper old-fashioned show and would like to thank the team at Queanbeyan Players, her singing teacher Jenni Reeves and her show widower Steve for all their support.
